Our people

Brent Quilliam

Brent Quilliam, the founder of A.R.C, is a qualified stonemason (Advanced Diploma in Stonemasonry) with over 25 years experience in stone restoration and conservation. He trained in Europe as a traditional cathedral stonemason and worked on many prestigious projects in the UK, including Cliveden House and Salisbury Cathedral. He won several UK Awards and was granted a Queen Elizabeth Scholarship.

Brent moved to Adelaide over 15 years ago and has worked in the industry since that time. He is passionate about ensuring traditional stonemasonry skills are passed onto the next generation, to ensure the integrity of SA's built heritage and monuments, and therefore teaches stonemasonry at FCTA.

A.R.C has advised and assisted several SA City Councils on conservation procedures and methods and has completed many important projects of historical significance. A.R.C is registered with the Government of South Australia's Register of Heritage Trades and Consultants (under the previous name of Brent Quilliam Stonemason)

Brent is also an award winning Sculptor, having won the Brighton Jetty Sculpture Competition
